Cookies & Analytics Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies National Foreclosure Prevention Group (“NFPGRP,” “we,” “us”) uses on this website, why we use them, and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and measure whether marketing and design changes actually work. We also use similar technologies like local storage, pixels, and script tags, for simplicity we'll call all of them “cookies” here.

2. What we use cookies for

• Strictly necessary. A small number of cookies are required to run the site, for example, to remember that you closed a modal or that you completed a form step. In the member app, a secure http-only session cookie is set when you sign in, so we can keep you signed in and protect your account. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site or signing you out.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages people visit, how long they stay, how they got here, and whether they complete key actions like booking a call or joining the waitlist. This helps us make the site clearer over time. Google may use your data in the ways described in Google's partner-sites policy.
• Marketing (limited). We may load conversion pixels from advertising platforms to measure the performance of ads we run. We do not build behavioral advertising profiles on our own site.

3. The specific tools we run today

4. Data collected

Through these tools we collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring URL (what site sent you here) and search terms if provided by the referrer
• Approximate geographic location (city / region, derived from IP)
• Device and browser type
• Interactions with key elements (form submissions, quiz completions, button clicks)

Google Analytics is configured to truncate IP addresses and not to be joined with personally identifying information. We do not use analytics data to identify individual homeowners.

5. Your choices

• Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. Blocking all cookies will break parts of the site.
• Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. We respect the GPC signal where required by law. If your browser sends GPC, we treat that as an opt-out of sale/share of personal information under applicable state privacy laws.
• Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent GA from collecting data across sites.
• Ask us directly. Contact us at the address in our Privacy Policy and we'll walk through what we hold about you and how to remove it.

6. Third-party cookie policies

Third parties whose cookies run on our site have their own privacy policies that apply to their processing:

• Netlify Privacy Notice (our host)
• SendGrid / Twilio Privacy Notice (email delivery)

7. Changes

As we add or remove tools, we'll update this policy. Check the “Last updated” date at the top.
